AV Installation Technician – Casual 2–3 Days per Week$45–$50 per hour + super Casual rate includes casual loading. Final rate depends on experience, licences and technical capability.AVSION is looking for a reliable and experienced hands-on AV Installation Technician to work on premium residential and commercial projects across Sydney.This is a casual position offering approximately 2–3 days per week initially, with potential for additional days and a long-term role as AVSION grows.This is a fixed AV installation role, not primarily live production or events.The role includes: • Installing TVs, displays, speakers and soundbars • Running, terminating, testing and labelling Cat6 cabling • Installing Wi-Fi access points and network equipment • Installing CCTV cameras and recorders • Assisting with intercom and access-control installations • Building and organising AV/data equipment racks • Reading installation plans and following project scopes • Testing and troubleshooting installed systems • Maintaining neat, professional work standards on client sitesAbout you: • Approximately 2–5 years of relevant fixed AV installation experience • Comfortable using hand and power tools • Able to complete standard installation tasks with limited supervision • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Good communication and customer-service skills • Current Australian driver licence • Full Australian working rightsExperience with UniFi, CCTV, intercoms, video conferencing, Sonos, Samsung, Sony, Marantz, Denon, Logitech, Neat or Poly would be highly regarded.Open Cabling Registration highly regarded. NSW Security Licence, White Card, Working at Heights or EWP licence are advantageous.
