The Role

We are inviting applications from experienced Science Teachers who bring strong subject knowledge and a thoughtful approach to their craft. The successful candidate will teach a combination of:

• Year 12 Biology and Chemistry
• Year 11 Psychology and Chemistry
• Year 10 Core Science
• Year 10 Forensics
• Year 8 and 9 Core Science

We have two full time, ongoing roles both commencing Term 1, 2027.  This is a wonderful opportunity to join a highly collaborative and purpose-driven team of educators, focused on the purposeful and curious pursuit of knowledge and understanding by students.

About You

You are a qualified and capable Science teacher, who is able to deliver engaging, well-structured learning programs that challenge and inspire students.  You will be confident in guiding, developing and nurturing our students’ love of learning Science across Chemistry, Biology and Psychology.

You’ll represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues, and parents, and be committed to the integrity and ethos of the College.

We are seeking a candidate with

• VCE experience
• IB experience (desirable)
• current VIT Registration
  
• the ability to work within and contribute to a team, particularly in the context of planning units of work and related assessments
• commitment to excellence and best practice in teaching and learning
• outstanding communication skills, marked by integrity and compassion
• relevant tertiary qualifications and experience
