About the role
Join a global logistics leader supporting Australia's mining and energy sectors.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Logistics Specialist to join the team at Crane Worldwide Logistics – Perth.
If you're an experienced freight forwarder who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex logistics challenges, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations for a diverse portfolio of mining, oil & gas and industrial customers, while being backed by the resources and opportunities of a growing global logistics provider.
Manage import and export shipments across air, ocean and domestic transport.
Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, carriers and service providers to ensure seamless shipment execution.
Track shipments and provide proactive customer updates.
Liaise with Customs and internal operational teams to ensure compliance and efficient cargo movement.
Complete job costing, invoicing and financial close-out.
Attend project and heavy-lift operations on site, air and port side when required.
Deliver outstanding customer service while identifying practical and cost-effective logistics solutions.
You'll be a proactive and customer-focused freight forwarding professional who enjoys taking ownership and working as part of a high-performing team.
Ideally, you'll have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in international freight forwarding.
Experience across import, export and domestic transport operations.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and knows how to schedule priorities.
A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A current C Class Driver's Licence.
