The role
We are seeking a Truck Driver with the appropriate experience, HC licence and driving history to fill a full-time truck driving position within our organisation.
The position’s primary role will be to operate stock trailers both locally and some interstate travel (not overnight).
Roster of work is a 9-day fortnight, inclusive of one weekend day of work required. Public Holiday work will be required as needed. Start time is 5am on site with a flexible finishing time to meet each day’s requirements. At present there are no requirements for overnight operations. Training will be provided for the specific procedures of the role.
Requirements of the role
Follow established procedures including those relating to record keeping of loads, Quality Assurance and Biosecurity.
Recognise any repairs and maintenance for the truck/ trailer under their control. Ensure issues are resolved.
Regular cleaning of the trucks and trailers.
