Contracts Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing full project lifecycle including commercial workflows, procurement, subcontractor claims and project completion claims. Working closely with internal stakeholders and operational teams, you will collaborate with operations, project delivery, procurement, and leadership teams, including the CEO, COO, and Operations Managers, to ensure all submissions are compliant, compelling, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating subcontracts, claims, and variations.

• Contract administration to support operations, contract notices & correspondence.

• Gather, edit, and format content from key stakeholders.

• Project cost manager - forecasting and reporting.

About you

• Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar role.

• Strong written communication and document preparation skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.

• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Proficiency with estimating software/tools and advanced hands-on knowledge of MS Project.

• Experience working within construction, infrastructure, engineering, professional services, mining, or related industries will be highly regarded.

• Technical knowledge of utility infrastructure installation, civil works, pipelines, underground services, and associated methodologies.
