About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Client Executive to join GSA's growing Melbourne team! This is a newly created entry-level role working within our Corporate team, and would be the perfect opportunity to kick start your career in insurance broking!
The main responsibilities include:Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.Provide high level of support to all team members and ensure that all requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.Processing of new business, renewals and policy document preparation and maintenance.Ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers including:Quoting of renewals and processing of endorsements/amendmentsPreparing correspondence between GSA Pty Ltd clients and underwriters for approval of the Account ExecutiveUpdate claims status reports.Ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality documents to insurers.Providing and following up on quotations.Processing all new business.Processing of endorsements/amendments.Premium calculations and allocations where required at the client’s direction.Preparing correspondence and reports between GSA Pty Ltd clients and Insurers.Provide high level of administration support to the broking team and the great administration team.Assist with Management of debtorsSupport the team with all duties and assist them to achieve budget
Education & QualificationsA Diploma or Degree in Business / Finance / Commerce or equivalent is advantageousWork towards further appropriate qualifications (Tier 1 & Tier 2 Insurance Broking Compliance)
Knowledge & ExperienceInsurance or Financial Services industry experience highly regardedStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to build and develop relationships and liaise with clients at all levelsCustomer service skills and business acumenThe ability to manage your time and work on a number of tasks concurrentlyStrong analytical skillsThe ability to work well in a team environmentAn understanding of client confidentialityAdministrative and IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookAccount management skillsSelf-motivated with personal drive and ambitionExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills
