Casual Retail Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Casual Retail Assistant to join the Clark Rubber team at our Erina store. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail environment. You will be based at our location in Erina NSW 2250, where you'll contribute to delivering excellent customer service and supporting day-to-day store operations. This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible work whilst gaining valuable retail experience in the consumer products sector.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to shoppers, assisting them with product selection and enquiries

• Processing transactions at the till, handling payments accurately and efficiently

• Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays in a neat and organised manner

• Assisting with stock management and inventory control tasks as directed

• Maintaining a clean and safe store environment, including floors, fitting rooms and general tidiness

• Supporting promotional activities and helping to set up marketing displays

• Responding to customer queries about products and services with professionalism and helpfulness

• Following all store policies, procedures and health and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

• Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts as required

• Basic numeracy skills and comfort handling cash and card transactions

• Physical capability to lift, carry and stand for extended periods

• Willingness to learn about products and provide helpful recommendations to customers

• A positive attitude and team-oriented approach to work
