Practice Manager | Run the Engine Room of a 7-Discipline Paeds Hub

The role

EveryKid is a paediatric practice in Parramatta. Around 385 families come through our purpose-built hub each week, across seven disciplines under one roof.

You'll hold the operational centre of our clinical service - how clinicians and families are matched, how the schedule works, how quality and compliance are maintained, and how our contractor workforce runs. You'll report to our CEO and sit in the leadership group, working alongside our Clinical Leaders in occupational therapy, speech pathology and physiotherapy.

We're in a deliberate period of change: redesigning our client journey, strengthening our systems and preparing for our next NDIS audit.

Which means you won't spend your first year convincing anyone. We already know what needs fixing. What we need is someone to own it.

What you'll own

• Caseload allocation - balancing clinician capability, client need, continuity of care and equitable distribution of complex presentations

• The clinical schedule - room allocation, resource booking and utilisation, resolved so the timetable works for families and clinicians

• The client journey - intake through to exit, with our Admin Manager on booking and our Clinical Leaders on clinical suitability

• Our contractor workforce - speech pathology, music therapy and art therapy, including Saturday service

• Compliance and safeguarding - NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct, incidents, complaints, privacy, records and WHS

• Improvement and reporting - utilisation, waitlist movement, caseload distribution and contractor performance, and the changes that follow from what the numbers tell you

About your background

What we can't compromise on is NDIS. You need to have operated inside the Practice Standards and the Code of Conduct, not just read them.

A clinical background is a bonus. If you have one, you can keep your registration and step in from time to time to cover sessions when a treating therapist is unavailable, keeping the role credible with the clinical team and grounded in the realities of service delivery. If you don't, the role is fully non-clinical and clinical practice standards sit where they always sit: with our Clinical Leaders and CEO.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated experience operating inside the NDIS Practice Standards and Code of Conduct

• Experience in practice management, clinical operations or clinical team leadership in a health, disability or NDIS setting

• Experience managing or coordinating a clinical or contractor workforce

• A track record of leading or influencing senior clinicians

• Experience owning an incident and complaints register through to closure

• Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain both
