Childcare Trainee

Explore & Develop Parramatta is looking for an individual who is looking to work in the Early Childhood sector and further their career with children.

We are seeking an individual who is looking to work towards a qualification, whether you are a school leaver, mature applicant, or somewhere in between. Do you feel a calling to be a dedicated and passionate educator who would love to support young children's learning? Our service will support you in your learning journey as we provide on-the-job learning while you obtain a qualification and get paid. This position is not for persons who already hold a qualification in the Early Childhood profession.

Our service seeks self-driven, reliable, engaging educators who share views around children as capable and competent learners and strive to design and implement high quality educational programs for children of all ages.

Required criteria:

• ACECQA recognised qualification or willing to work towards.

• Sound knowledge and understanding of EYLF and NQF

• Confidence in using technology to complete documentation

• Current Working with Children Check

• Double vaccination status

• Must be over 18 years old to work with children.

The service location is convenient for those travelling via public transport as it is close to a train station and a bus stop adjacent to the closest intersection with a short walk to the service.
