The Opportunity

With a new dentist joining the practice, we’re looking for a Dental Assistant to join our warm, close-knit team. Whether your strength is chairside or front-of-house, this role suits someone who genuinely loves patient care and wants to grow with a practice that’s going places.

Role Details

• Saturday availability required (half-day shifts)
• Immediate start available
• Prior dental experience highly regarded

What You’ll Be Doing

Your focus — clinical, reception, or a mix of both — will depend on your experience and interests.

Chairside:

• Assisting dentists across a range of procedures
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments, and sterilisation
• Delivering excellent patient care before, during, and after appointments
• Helping keep the clinical environment calm, organised, and team-focused

Front Desk:

• Welcoming and checking in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• Processing payments and health fund claims, and handling enquiries
• Setting the tone for a front desk that reflects our practice values

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ months’ experience in dental assisting or reception (preferred, not essential)
• A friendly, patient-focused manner and strong communication skills
• Composure and organisation in a busy clinical setting
• Reliability, team spirit, and a willingness to learn
