Job Title:

Administration Team Leader, SASH (Support After Sexual Harm)

• Parkville Location

About the Role

This is a Full-Time, Ongoing position at 80 hours per fortnight at SASH at The Royal Children’s Hospital’s (RCH), Parkville.

You will be responsible for the coordination, delivery, and continuous improvement of SASH administrative functions, and management of the SASH administration workforce. You will oversee the daily provision of high-quality administrative services that support all aspects of SASH service delivery, strategic commitments, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders including client access and flow, coordination of data, timelines and reporting; procurement and purchasing in accordance with financial compliance requirements; asset management, staff onboarding and offboarding, and stakeholder liaison and communication.

Classification for this position will be Managers and Administrators Grade 4 Year 1-5 ($87,003.80 - $96,181.28 Per annum plus superannuation plus salary packaging). 

What you’ll achieve:

• Effective development, review and implementation of SASH’s daily clinical operations including scheduling, access and flow processes for SASH clinical services using the RCH electronic medical system (EMR)
• Development and management of a team providing high level customer service to children and families and other stakeholders
• Identification of opportunities for continuous administrative systems and process improvements  

Your skills and experience:

• Several years’ experience in a similar field or post-secondary qualification and 2-3 years’ relevant industry experience (preferably in healthcare)
• Experience leading/managing a small-medium sized team

About SASH 

SASH is a directorate of the Royal Children’s Hospital and a specialist sexual assault service.

SASH provides counselling and support for Children who have experienced sexual harm or engaged in harmful sexualised behaviour and their family members and carers living in the Brimbank Melton or Western Melbourne areas (Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong, Melbourne Hobsons Bay and Wyndham LGAs) or who are inpatients at the the RCH. Services are provided at the service’s community sites in Melton, Werribee and at the RCH. SASH also provides 24/7 sexual assault crisis response support at the RCH.
