Position Overview:

As a Cook at Tonic by the Bay you will play a crucial role in our kitchen’s success. You will prepare and cook meals to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. You’ll collaborate with our kitchen team to help create delightful dishes that keep our customers coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.

- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and is of high quality.

- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure fresh ingredients are always available.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to maintain a positive and efficient working environment.

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests and team members.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.

- Passion for food, cooking, and a desire to create delicious dishes that guests will love.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Morning shift
• Rotating roster

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
