LINE CHEFS AT OCEANFRONT KIOSK - NEST KIOSK and THE SELLER DOOR CAFE Brighton

We have two line chef positions available at our beachside hospitality venues in Adelaide, S.A:

• CASUAL LINE CHEF (25-30 hrs p.w) AT OUR OCEANFRONT KIOSK - NEST KIOSK - Kingston Park SA, and

• CASUAL LINE CHEF (25-30 hrs p.w) WANTED AT OUR BRIGHTON BEACH CAFE - THE SELLER DOOR - Jetty Rd, Brighton, SA

We are on the hunt for two experienced line chefs to join our growing and amazing teams of chefs at Nest Kiosk, located in Kingston Park (just past Seacliff Beach), and The Seller Door cafe, 73 Jetty Rd, Brighton, SA.

Nest Kiosk and The Seller Door cafe are busy beachside venues, open for all day breakfast and lunch 7 days a week (7am to 3pm), as well as seasonal dinner service in peak season (Friday/Saturday nights) and ad hoc private canapé style events in the evenings.

You will be a part of a small, energetic, creative, supportive, and fun team of chefs at either location.

Primary tasks are operating the grill and fryer, plating, reading/understanding dockets as well as contributing to special ideas, food prep and much more.

Must be readily available over the weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday - at least one weekend day is needed), and interest/ capacity to work some dinner service shifts (approx. 5pm to 9pm) and sporadic private evening catering events, is ideal but not necessary.

Must have 2 years experience in a similar role.

Current hours: 25-30 HOURS PER WEEK.

Hours will / can increase to full time (38 hRS per week) once the Summer peak season starts, approximately November 2026 to March 2027.

These positions will commence as Casual positions, however we are open to a contract /salaried positions following a short probation period.

Positions can start following successful trial shifts, with on the job training and support, immediately (in AUG/SEPT 2026).

Pay Guideline, based on Restaurant Industry Award:

Cook grade 3 to 4 (tradesperson) (wage level 4 to 5 ) dependant on qualifications and experience. Casual rates subject to increases on weekends and Public Holidays.
