Our client is a well-established Civil & Landscaping contractor, that have a strong presence in both the public and private sectors, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join their growing business.
As the Project Manager you’ll be joining a thriving business where you will be responsible for leading programmes from initiation on site through to completion, work with public and private sector clients, plan & schedule works, and develop construction methodologies. You will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
Types of projects include general civil construction across including infrastructure and government projects. Typical values from $500k - $6m
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Quality assurancePlanning and scheduling of construction activitiesManage teamsAssist with the preparation of claims and manage disputes when necessaryQuality Assurance, Cost and Time ManagementPreparation of management reportsResolving site issues in a timely mannerLiaising with key clients and stakeholdersCoordinating internal and external resourcesRecruitment and mentoring of teams
Qualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar5+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m+Project management qualifications will be advantageousProven understanding of construction with a hands-on approachProven ability to effectively lead and delegateEffective problem solving abilitiesAbility to resolve conflict and manage client expectationsHigh level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills
