Senior Project Officer

This is a 6-month Fixed Term appointment at 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Officer to join our team.The Senior Project Officer takes a lead role in the development, coordination, management and delivery of initiatives, projects and programs that contribute to the improvement of South Metropolitan Health, Mental Health.

South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Mental Healthdelivers comprehensive public mental health care through a network of community mental health services, hospitals and community health centres. Across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Mental Health (FSFH Mental Health) and Peel and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health (PaRK Mental Health), specialist services are provided across the South Metropolitan region, supporting consumers with accessible, collaborative and high-quality mental health care.   SMHS Mental Health will soon open a new state-of-the-art facility at Fremantle Hospital designed to offer expanded and modern mental health services for our community. The three-storey space will provide an additional 40 mental health beds and a 24-hour Mental Health Crisis Centre, ensuring compassionate and innovative care for those who need it most.
