FOOD SERVICES DIETITIAN - GRADE 3

Fixed Term Part Time – 32 hours per fortnight

Available from 24th September 2026

In this role you will be responsible for the relevant nutrition components of Food Services at PDH and will ensure PDH compliance with Accreditation Standards, the Aged Care Standards and other Guidelines as appropriate.  The Food services Dietitian will lead quality improvement activities in Dietetics and Food Service areas. You will be responsible for the reviewing and develop of policies, procedures and processes for Food Services to ensure PDH compliance with regulatory bodies. You will represent Dietetics / Allied Health at appropriate working groups / meetings and committees.  You will provide Leadership within the Allied Health Department - Dietetics and Food services and relevant stakeholders. You will be expected to participate in relevant hospital, aged care, community and professional forums and will provide education training and teaching to food services staff.  You will work directly with consumers and their families / NOK where appropriate. And will provide nutritional guidance for the provision of staff and visitor meals to ensure compliance with mandated guidelines.

About you:

• Current Dietetics Qualification or eligibility fort membership with Accredited Practicing
• Experience as Food Services Dietitian in Hospital / Aged care setting.
• At least 7 years’ experience as a Dietitian
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of inpatient and outpatient Dietetics services.
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary dietetics practice principles and evidence-based service delivery models of Nutrition for dietetics services.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multifactorial environment providing high-quality nutritional care.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management teams.
