Venue Manager

About the role

As Venue Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our restaurant, leading and inspiring our team while ensuring every customer has a fantastic experience. You'll oversee daily operations from the kitchen to the front-of-house, manage budgets and drive sales, handle ordering and inventory, maintain food safety and compliance standards, and jump in wherever needed to support the team and resolve guest concerns.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff, ensuring everyone performs at their best

• Ensure every customer has a fantastic experience from first bite to last sip

• Oversee daily operations from the kitchen to the front-of-house, keeping things running smoothly

• Manage budgets, optimize costs, and drive sales to keep the restaurant thriving

• Handle ordering and inventory, ensuring fresh ingredients and drinks are always in stock

• Maintain high standards for food safety, cleanliness, and adherence to regulations

• Jump in wherever needed, whether helping with a busy shift or resolving a guest's concern

• Keep daily reports accurate, conduct shift briefings, and stay in regular touch with the area manager

About you

• Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality industry

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering memorable experiences

• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting

• Solid understanding of food safety standards and compliance

• Great communication skills, both in person and via email

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
