Operations Manager

About the role

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to join the team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As an Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our supply chain and account management functions. Leading a high-performing team, you'll ensure continuity of supply, optimise operational performance, and build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business growth, drive continuous improvement, and leverage data-driven insights to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Supply Chain and Account teams to achieve business goals and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute supply chain and customer service strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across people, systems and processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production, inventory management and logistics.
• Ensure continuity of supply through effective demand planning, supplier management and inventory control.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to strengthen supplier partnerships, enhance customer outcomes and support sustainable business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners and key internal stakeholders.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and data-driven insights, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, performance management and employee development.
• Support change initiatives and foster a positive, values-driven culture that supports engagement, accountability and business success.

About you

• An experienced people leader who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance operational priorities while identifying opportunities to support sustainable business growth.
• Customer-focused, with a genuine interest in supporting business success and operational excellence.
• A strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
• A proactive problem solver who can identify issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and a current driver's licence.
• Sales and/or agricultural industry experience, will be highly regarded.
