About the role
Reporting to the CEO, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all clinical services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while achieving key operational and financial objectives. You will lead clinical governance, workforce management, quality and accreditation activities, while building strong relationships with visiting practitioners, referrers, and the broader healthcare community.
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee all clinical services, ensuring compliance with NSQHS Standards and clinical governance requirements.
Drive outstanding patient care outcomes, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives.
Build, develop, and support a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
Manage workforce planning, recruitment, education, and performance.
Deliver key operational and financial outcomes, including occupancy, labour management, and service efficiency targets.
Foster strong relationships with Visiting Medical Practitioners, referrers, and key stakeholders.
Lead accreditation, incident management, and continuous improvement programs.
Contribute to business growth, service development, and future hospital initiatives.
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Experience in a Clinical Services Manager, ADON, NUM, or similar healthcare leadership role.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, accreditation, quality, and safety frameworks.
Proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
Experience managing operational performance, budgets, and workforce resources.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for service excellence.
Peri Operative experience will be highly regarded.
