About the role

Nordon Cylinders is looking for two Internal Sales Representatives to join our Brendale team. These are customer-facing roles for people who genuinely enjoy building relationships – picking up the phone, following up quotes, and making sure every customer feels heard and well-served.

You'll be one of our customers’ primary contacts for the day to day, working closely with our BDMs and Sales Manager to prepare and progress quotations. While this is an internal sales role, we're looking for people who are proactive, take initiative to follow up quotes, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.

What you'll do

• Own the customer relationship – proactively follow up quotes, check in on orders and make customers feel like a priority
• Handle inbound enquiries professionally and drive them to an outcome, not just process them
• Support BDMs and the Sales Manager in preparing quotations for review and approval
• Assist customers with product selection using your knowledge of cylinders, hydraulics and our product range
• Monitor and expedite back orders, keeping customers informed on delivery ETAs
• Generate sales orders, purchase orders, invoices and shipping documentation accurately
• Follow up inbound leads and forward qualified opportunities to the external sales team
• Contribute to achieving branch sales and gross profit targets

What we're looking for

• A customer-first mindset – you enjoy talking to people, not just processing paperwork
• Outbound and proactive by nature – you follow up without being asked
• Background in cylinders, hydraulics or a closely related industry – this is essential
• Strong product knowledge you can translate into solutions for customers
• Confident communicator, comfortable on the phone and in writing
• Attention to detail when it comes to quotes, orders and documentation
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
