Monumental Masonry Labourer / Monument Installer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Monumental Masonry Labourer / Monument Installer.

The role involves assisting with the preparation, transportation and installation of monuments, headstones and memorials at cemeteries and other locations. The successful applicant will work alongside our experienced team and assist with a range of general labouring and monumental masonry duties.

Key duties include:

• Assisting with the installation, removal and maintenance of monuments, headstones and memorials.

• Loading, unloading and safely transporting monuments, materials, tools and equipment.

• Driving company vehicles to and from cemeteries and other work sites.

• Using hand tools, power tools and other equipment as required.

• Assisting with lifting, positioning and securing stone and monument components.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite.

• Following cemetery requirements, worksite procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

• Performing general labouring duties as required to support the monumental masonry team.

Essential requirements:

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence or appropriate truck licence (preferred, but not required).

• Ability to safely drive and operate a truck for work-related purposes.

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour, including lifting and moving heavy materials.

• Reliable, punctual and willing to work outdoors and at cemetery locations.

• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Current driver's licence and reliable transport to attend the workplace, where required.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in monumental masonry, stonemasonry, construction, landscaping, concreting or general labouring.

Full training and guidance will be provided to the successful applicant where required. Previous monumental masonry experience is advantageous but not essential for the right person.
