Practice Nurse

An exciting opportunity is open for a registered nurse/enrolled nurse to join our team of dedicated health professionals at MedCentral GP Clinic.

MedCentral GP Clinic is a modern and dynamic general practice serving Darwin's northern suburbs, located in The Village Shopping Centre Casuarina. We provide a contemporary, spacious and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and administering vaccines
• Patient triage
• Scheduling and assisting with completion of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Cycles of Care
• Perform ECG, Spirometry, ABPI, Healthy Heart Checks
• Assisting with procedures including Excisions, Biopsies and insertion of contraceptive devices
• Regular wound care and ROS
• Entry of patient information to Medical Director
• Management of the treatment room, including sterilising, stock ordering/rotation and maintaining cleanliness
• Managing patient recalls
• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

Education & Experience:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/ Enrolled Nurse
• Current CPR certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• 1+ years experience in a similar role preferred
• Immunisation certificate desirable

Pay rate dependent on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $36.00 – $47.00 per hour

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
