Role purposeThe Trainer provides specialist training delivery, courseware development, quality assurance and subject matter expertise that support the SPO.
Key responsibilitiesPlan, coordinate and deliver FPECM training services.Develop and maintain Learning Management Packages, Learning Support Materials, training aids and supporting instructional material, and review and update course content arising from capability, technology or policy changes.Conduct internal quality assurance activities, support learning evaluations and training governance, and develop recommendations that improve training effectiveness and learner outcomes.Provide specialist FPECM subject matter expertise, including advice on capability employment, interoperability and training, and responses to Requests for Information.Support capability development and sustainment activities, Countermeasures Development and Validation activities, and related capability projectParticipate in stakeholder forums, working groups, reviews and project activities, and provide advice on contemporary explosive hazard threats, technology developments and emerging capability requirements.Support operational preparedness and collective training, including refresher and operator generation training, high readiness and force preparation activities, and collective training events and exercises.Configure, prepare and test training equipment, undertake operator-level equipment maintenance, and support equipment movement, accountability and logistics activities necessary to support training delivery. Provide technical advice relating to training systems and associated support equipment, and contribute to quarterly contract status reporting and annual Learning Management Package updates.
Essential criteriaMaster's degree in finance, commerce, business or a related discipline.Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, business or a related discipline.Fellow CPA (FCPA) membership or equivalent professional accounting accreditation.Minimum one year's experience with ERP systems.More than four years' experience using IBRS.Sound working understanding of CapabilityOne.Current NV1 clearance, with the candidate and Member accepting that any clearance upgrade costs are borne solely by the vendor.Demonstrated compliance capability across the PSPF, Defence security policy, records and information management, and the Commonwealth financial framework.Willingness to work on site at Russell as required; flexible and work from home arrangements are subject to operational, security and Contract Authority approval.
SFIA Skills Sought:The provision of learning and development processes (including learning management systems) in order to develop the professional, business and/or technical skills required by the organisation.
ETMG Level 4:Contributes to the development and maintenance of a catalogue of learning and development resources. Books and organises learning events. Updates and controls training records, including attainment of certificates and accreditations.
