We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of businesses, developing SEO and GEO strategies that make a genuine impact for our clients.

We have a very extensive and diverse client base which provides for variety from day to day.About the Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who can own SEO campaigns end to end, from strategy through to implementation and reporting. You'll manage multiple client accounts, set the direction for each, and be the person clients trust to grow their visibility and their business.

This is a flexible part-time role, offering the equivalent of 2 days per week, with the ability to spread hours across the week. It is perfect for someone who wants to balance professional growth with personal commitments. We offer a blend of in-office collaboration, and work-from-home flexibility, though we do require some time in our Perth office during the normal working week. Whilst the role starts at two days per week, there is the potential for additional hours, or a full-time role in the future. We are happy to develop the role to suit you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis

• Perform technical SEO audits, and work with developers to implement recommendations

• Optimise website architecture, internal linking, and on-page SEO

• Create SEO content strategies

• Optimise content for AI-driven search - Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and other answer engines (GEO)

• Monitor rankings, traffic and conversions using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and SEMrush

• Identify backlink opportunities

• Optimise Google Business Profiles and local SEO campaigns

• Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, GEO developments and SEO best practices 

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years' SEO experience

• Strong understanding of Google's ranking factors

• Hands-on experience with tools such as:

  1. Ahefs

  2. SEMrush

  3. Google Search Console

  4. Google Analytica

  5. Google Tag Manager (desirable)

• Experience with, or interest in GEO, and how AI search is changing the way people discover businesses

• Excellent written communication

• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data

• The ability to explain SEO concepts to clients in plain language

• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail

• Comfortable managing multiple clients at once

• Ecommerce experience (desirable, but not essential)

• The role is permanent part-time (2 days per week equivalent), with the potential for additional hours, or a full-time role in the future. We are happy to develop the role to suit you

• Flexible working hours, no need to spend your life in peak-hour traffic

• Hybrid work mode- some work from home is welcome, but we do require some hours in our North Perth office during the normal working week

Remuneration & Conditions
The position is permanent part-time and available immediately. Remuneration is negotiable, dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience. Please note, this job is only available to those who are based in the Perth metropolitan area, and hold work rights in Australia.
