About the role
About the Role
We are a Construction and development company, building multiple Class 2 and Class 3 Projects in Sydney.
We are seeking a pro-active Contracts Administrator to join our growing team, working across multiple projects.
This is a predominantly office-based role with regular site visits. You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, Project Director, Consultants, Site teams and Subcontractors to ensure projects are well coordinated, documented and delivered efficiently through the design and construction phases.
This role is ideal for someone with 3 to 5 years' experience in construction project coordination who is looking to further develop their construction career.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager, the role of Contract Administrator is to support the Project Delivery Team.
Liaising with the Project Team providing support
Coordination of administrative and technical aspects of the project
Checking materials / works in progress for compliance with the specification, NCC and Australian Standards
Prepare contracts entering all documentation required
Prepare BOQ as required
Observance of Construction Management Planning and all subsets contained within (e.g., WHSE)
Assist in coordination of Construction Certificates and Occupation Certificates.
Read and interpret design and construction documentation
Support the resolution of technical issues in conjunction with Project Director, Project Delivery Team Members, Suppliers, Subcontractors and Statutory Authorities
Maintain and administer site QA / QC, in accordance with approved methods statements, quality management plans and systems
Liaise with corporate purchasing and to ensure that orders are clearly defined matching specified requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 years industry experience on multi-residential apartment projects, Class 2 or Class 3.
University qualifications in either Construction Management or Engineering.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
