The opportunity

We're looking for a service electrician for our Western NSW team based in the Orange or Bathurst regions to work across commercial HVAC, fire and telepower services. You'll be doing varied, interesting work, fault-finding controls, switchboards, sensors and motor circuits, not pulling cable on a new build for six months. You're paid for what you actually do, you have a real career path, and you finish your day with the work clearly in front of you, not behind you.

What you'll be doing

• Fault-find, service and repair HVAC, fire and building services electrical systems

• Attend priority breakdowns across a diverse range of electrical, HVAC, fire and DC systems, responding quickly to minimise downtime and restore services

• Test, tag and certify electrical work to AS/NZS 3000 and client requirements

• Carry out RCD testing and exit and emergency lighting (EEL) testing in accordance with relevant standards, legislation and client requirements

• Carry out switchboard upgrades, sensor replacements and controls wiring

• Carry out basic electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding associated with HVAC plant and building management systems

• Complete certificates of compliance, service reports and asset data digitally

• Coordinate with HVAC techs and supervisors to plan and close out jobs

What you'll bring

•     A-Grade electrical licence (state-specific)
•     Current driver's licence
•     Experience servicing commercial HVAC, Telepower, fire or building services electrical systems

Bonus points for

•     EWP, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
•     Experience with VSDs, soft-starters and motor controls
•     Familiarity with BMS controls (Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens or similar)
