We are currently seeking applications for an Assistant Director, Digital Experience Services to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for an initial period of 2 years with an opportunity for extension.
Remuneration: SM2 - Salary Range $153,887 p.a.
About the opportunity:
As the Assistant Director, Digital Strategy and Architecture, you will play a key role in shaping the future of technology across the South Australian Government. Working at a whole-of-government level, you will provide leadership in digital strategy, enterprise architecture and technology services, helping to ensure core government services are delivered effectively and efficiently. This is an opportunity to influence strategic technology decisions, collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, and contribute to outcomes that make a meaningful impact across the public sector.
About you
To be successful you will:
Play a key role in shaping whole-of-government technology strategies and roadmaps that support the delivery of effective and reliable public services.
Lead a dedicated team of subject matter experts in architecture, platform governance and across government technology strategy
Influence major ICT initiatives by developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide view of technology services, architecture and future capability needs.
Collaborate with government agencies to understand their current and emerging business requirements and help translate these into strategic technology outcomes.
Engage with technology vendors, industry experts and key stakeholders to identify emerging trends and opportunities that inform future technology direction.
Build strong relationships across government while providing leadership, strategic advice and oversight of technology services to support quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) enables a more connected and secure government so that South Australian (SA) Government agencies can better serve our community. We do this by leading the SA Government's technology, cyber security, and digital government strategies, as well as developing and delivering resilient and innovative ICT, digital and cyber security services, platforms, and critical infrastructure to SA Government agencies that are accessible, trusted and secure.

Digital Strategy and Architecture, in OCIO, supports SA Government agencies by delivering whole of government architecture patterns, advisory, project support to agencies on connectivity and governance to the State Data Network and, the Integration Platform as a Service. The team also develops whole of government strategies and roadmaps to support the direction of key platforms for the State. It also has responsibility for OCIO's future architectural and technology direction.
