Dental Assistant

About the role

As a Dental Assistant at Charlestown Dental Care, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. This is a casual role (30-36 hours per week) based in our modern practice located in Charlestown.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures

• Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment

• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic files

• Welcoming and greeting patients, and escorting them to the treatment areas

• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries and concerns

• Ensuring the dental practice is clean, organised, and well-stocked with supplies

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the dental team

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

• A friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude towards patients

• Experience in a dental practice or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable but not essential

• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently as needed
