Projects & System Operations Manager

Ad Standards is Australia’s advertising regulator. We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years' project management experience to lead small to medium sized projects to implement and operationalise business capability.

The successful candidate will have accountability to ensure the design, build and high-quality delivery of small to medium sized projects; and will oversee system and IT operations include opportunities for system enhancements, system performance, optimising operational capacity, and process efficiencies.   

The role requires demonstrated project management skills and delivery ideally in a small-scale IT business environment that provides capability to support core business functions. The role also requires demonstrated experience in IT systems operations, and use of AI agents to enhance business functions and solutions.   

Ad Standards is a small team and an important personal attribute is the ability to balance leadership and collaboration in a small team of specialists. The role has no direct reports.

 Required experience and qualifications 

• Qualifications in Project Management (degree preferred) 

• 5+ years demonstrated project delivery experience 

• System operations experience 

• Experience with Agentic AI 

• Experience with change management methodologies 

Remuneration

Total remuneration package of $130,000 p.a. inclusive of superannuation
