Covert Retail Security Officer

The VIC Loss Prevention Team is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to join the team as a Loss Prevention Covert Officer. You will be responsible for influencing shrinkage reduction by detecting theft and fraud.

 About the Role:

• Detect and apprehend/prevent offenders for theft and fraud in accordance with all Myer policies and procedures
• Manage incident reporting, intelligence reporting and CCTV camera operating
• Identifying and escalating information/allegations requiring further follow up to management
• Provide leadership and support to Loss Prevention and shrinkage management tactics

 About You:

• Covert Loss Prevention experience
• Reporting/statement writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong team focus with a desire to share knowledge 
• Must hold a current Security Licence, First-Aid Certification, and Certificate II in Security Operations
• To be considered for this position you will need to be available to work across our key store trading hours, including every second weekend.
