Management Accountant

The Canning Vale Recycling Facility, one of the most significant recycling and resource recovery hubs in Western Australia. The site incorporates a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), FOGO (Food Organics and Garden Organics), and Green Waste operations. We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to support our operations team with high-quality financial management and analysis.

About the role

• Prepare weekly and monthly site financial reports and variance analyses.

• Ensure all revenue and costs are accurately recognised and allocated.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure tracking.

• Analyse weighbridge data and mass balance variances.

• Assist with customer performance reviews and offer modelling.

• Prepare gate fee rise-and-fall calculations in line with the agreed schedule.

• Support business improvement projects and BI-based reporting initiatives.

• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to deliver timely, accurate insights.

• Maintain a high standard of compliance and data integrity in all reporting.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• CA or CPA qualification.

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting or financial analysis.

• Experience in a manufacturing, waste, container deposit scheme or industrial environment (advantageous).

• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.

• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

• Experience in contract interpretation and management.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency.

• High standard of professional integrity and accountability.

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance in all work practices.
