About the role

Proferlo Furniture is a growing Brisbane-based furniture ecommerce business looking for an early-career marketing assistant who's genuinely comfortable using AI tools in their day-to-day work — not just aware of them. This is a hands-on, broad-scope role: you'll help execute campaigns, create content, and support the operational side of a small, fast-moving team. Ideal for someone 1–2 years into their career (or with equivalent self-directed project experience) who wants real ownership early rather than a narrow, siloed job.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok (working alongside our external ad agency)
• Write and edit product listings and descriptions
• Draft customer service email responses for review
• Produce short-form content and basic graphics
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, image generation) to speed up copywriting, reporting, and content production
• Assist with day-to-day reporting and inventory-related admin

What we're looking for

• Early-career — 1–2 years' experience, or equivalent hands-on project work (uni, freelance, personal ventures all count)
• Genuinely fluent with AI tools as part of your workflow, not just familiar with them
• High drive and ownership — comfortable moving between creative and admin tasks without being told exactly how
• Full working rights, based locally in Brisbane

Pay
$32–$36 per hour, depending on experience. Pay reviewed at 3-6 months against agreed KPIs (campaign ownership, AI workflow adoption, content output), with a defined increase on meeting them.

Pay: $30.00 – $36.00 per hour

• This is an on-site, full-time role based in Acacia Ridge covering marketing, customer support, and warehouse tasks in the same week. Are you comfortable with that mix of work?
• How often do you currently use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, image generators, etc.) as part of your actual work or study — not just casually?

• Tell us about a time you had to switch between very different types of tasks — physical, creative, admin — in the same day. How did you handle the shift?
• Give an example of something you improved, fixed, or built without being asked to.
• As this is a all rounder role you will be also taking on many different day to day operational tasks this includes physical tasks such as lifting cartons up to 30kg, container unloading, and extended periods on your feet, alongside desk-based marketing work.
