MECHANIC / FIELD TECH - Cleaning Machinery

CLEANING MACHINERY IMPORTS (CMI) - is the importer and Australia wide distributor of premium quality industrial sweepers, we have an opportunity for a Machinery Technician to work from our Minto site. The technician could be either a small engine mechanic, light vehicle mechanic, machinery mechanic, electrician, fitter or similar trade or experience.

The Role: The position involves a mix of field and workshop work, primarily on sweepers and scrubbers, of which can be Battery, Diesel, Petrol or LPG powered. The work includes pre-deliveries, preventative maintenance services and repairs. Product training is available to technicians that have not worked on this type of equipment previously. The role will suit a technician who either has a broad skill mix or the desire to increase their skill mix, as the role will provide the opportunity to carry out a wide range of repairs.  Additional skills that can be learned through this role in context of the equipment we supply, include electrical, hydraulic, welding, and even the opportunity to learn spray painting if desired.

About You, You Will:

• have a strong mechanical aptitude

• be trade qualified or be able to supply evidence of suitable experience

• be able to work autonomously

• have a valid driver’s license
