ISOLA Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team on Rottnest Island, WA.

Working alongside our management team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient service delivery, and a positive dining experience for our guests.

 Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily management and operation of the restaurant.

• Supervised restaurant floor operations, ensuring compliance with service standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies.

• Planned and managed staff rosters, allocated duties, and adjusted staffing levels to ensure efficient service delivery while controlling labour costs.

• Own, plan and oversee functions and special events at the ISOLA Restaurant.

• Manage restaurant stock levels across food and beverage services.

• Assist in menu planning in consultation with the Head Chef and contribute to the development of seasonal menus.

• Performed Duty Manager responsibilities during high-volume service periods, overseeing daily restaurant operations and overall guest experience.

• Trained, supervised, and supported front-of-house team members to maintain consistent service and performance standards.

 About You:

• Minimum of 3 years management/supervisory experience.

• Exceptional knowledge of restaurant operations.

• Possess a decisive, welcoming, and calm under pressure manner.

• Passionate about Italian food, culture, heritage.

• Strong knowledge of beverage pairings

• Excellent guest relations and passion for creating elevated experiences.

 NOTE: This is a LIVE ON or daily commuter role - if you LIVE ON, you would be required to live in shared staff accommodation on Rottnest Island 

Salary between $79,499 & $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
