About the role
We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead field-based construction crews around the Metro area and support the successful delivery of underground utility and electrical infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, driving productivity, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in accordance with client requirements.
Key responsibilities
Lead and supervise crews, subcontractors and plant resources on site.
Coordinate daily work activities to achieve project milestones and delivery targets.
Monitor productivity, workforce utilisation, and project performance.
Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with company, client, and legislative requirements.
Maintain high standards of quality across all project activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Identify, document, and manage project variations.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve project and business objectives.
Assist with planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
Escalate and assist in resolving operational, technical and resourcing issues.
Conduct regular site inspections.
About you
Minimum 4 years' experience in a supervisory role within the electrical, utilities, civil construction or infrastructure sectors.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Strong understanding of Horizontal Directional Drilling, Cable Laying, and trenching.
Experience coordinating field crews and subcontractors.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
A proactive and solutions focused approach.
Essential Requirements
WA White Card.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Desirable Qualifications
Western Power Network Authority Card (NAC).
Traffic Management Accreditation.
Valid HR Drivers Licence.
Safety Leadership for Supervisors.
