Property Manager

About the role

Century 21 Aaron Moon Realty is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to make a direct impact on our residential property management operations. As Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple residential properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, property maintenance and compliance with all relevant legislation. This role is pivotal to maintaining the reputation of our portfolio, and you will work closely with our leasing team, maintenance contractors and property owners to deliver exceptional service standards. You will work alongside a dedicated Assistant, Trust Account Manager, and BDM.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain residential properties on behalf of owners, ensuring properties are well-maintained and compliant with all legal requirements

• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs with approved contractors

• Handle tenant enquiries and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

• Enforce lease agreements and manage tenant relationships

• Keep detailed records of all property transactions, maintenance, tenant communications and compliance documentation

• Ensure compliance with relevant residential tenancy laws

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Property Manager, ideally managing multiple residential properties within the Australian market

• Strong knowledge of residential tenancy laws and regulations relevant to Queensland

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with tenants, owners and contractors

• Proficiency with property management software and general computer systems

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure

• Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences to tenants and property owners

• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the local area for property inspections

• Relevant qualifications such as a Real Estate License or Property Management certification (preferred)
