Peninsula Cardiology has been a cornerstone of patient care in Sydney's Northern Beaches since 1989. Our team comprises dedicated specialist cardiologists renowned for their technical expertise and compassionate patient care. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and interventional services across three convenient clinic locations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment. You will work at our Mona Vale and Northern Beaches Hospital Rooms 2 days per week, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver superior patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist Cardiologists with procedures such as Exercise ECGs, Resting ECGs, Exercise Stress Echocardiograms and needs to be able to conduct Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms (DSE's).
Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms during procedures.
Ensure nursing care aligns with best practice standards and physician instructions.
Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient clinic operations.
About You:
Experience in performing exercise stress tests is highly regarded.
Proficient in performing and interpreting ECGs.
Strong computer skills, including medical records management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
Current, unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Valid Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with exceptional time management skills.
Commitment to ethical conduct, patient confidentiality, and best practice standards.
Available to work on 2 days per week.
Eligibility to work in Australia.
