JUNIOR YARD WORKER - CASUAL

JOIN OUR SCAFFOLD YARD TEAM

TH Yard Services is seeking a motivated Junior Yard Worker to join our Beenleigh-based team. Reporting to the Yard Logistics Manager, you will assist with preparing scaffold materials, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, keeping the yard organised, and supporting deliveries and collections for our clients across South East Queensland project sites where required.

This entry-level role is suited to someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in scaffolding, construction, warehousing, logistics or general labouring.

Your responsibilities will include:

·        Assist with preparing scaffold materials for transport and upcoming projects.

·        Pick, pack, organise and manually handle scaffold components under supervision.

·        Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently under supervision.

·        Assist with deliveries, collections and movement of inventory, tools, equipment or materials as directed.

·        Maintain a clean, organised and safe scaffold yard.

·        Clean and maintain yard equipment and plant.

·        Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

·        Work closely with Truck Drivers, Supervisors and the Yard team to meet daily operational requirements.

·        Assist with general labouring duties as required.

·        Utilise forklifts, yard machinery or equipment only where trained, authorised and licensed to do so.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

·        Construction White Card.

·        Current Driver's Licence.

·        Forklift Licence or willingness to complete forklift training (paid for by employer)

·        A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

·        Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment exposed to the elements.

·        Commitment to workplace safety.

·        Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
