About the role
Working as part of our warehouse team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining inventory integrity and food safety standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring experience operating high reach forklifts and working within refrigerated warehouse environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
Receive incoming stock and verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
Print and process pick slips, packing slips and dispatch documentation.
Prepare pallets for dispatch in accordance with customer and transport requirements.
Complete freight consignment notes and liaise with transport providers.
Maintain accurate inventory records through stock rotation and FIFO practices.
Perform cycle counts and assist with scheduled stocktakes.
Ensure warehouse locations remain organised, clean and accurate.
Load and unload trucks safely.
Work within refrigerated and cold room environments while following food safety and WHS requirements.
Work collaboratively with production, customer service and procurement teams.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and has a genuine eye for detail.
You'll ideally have:
3-5 years' experience in a warehouse/storeperson role.
Current High Risk Forklift Licence (LF) with strong high reach forklift experience.
Experience working in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments.
A solid understanding of FIFO inventory management and stock rotation principles.
Experience conducting cycle counts and stocktakes.
Strong inventory accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience using warehouse management systems or ERP systems.
Confidence using computers to print pick slips, packing slips and shipping documentation.
Understanding of freight documentation and palletisation requirements.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
