Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef.  With stunning views out to the impossibly blue waters of the Whitsundays, it is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the island. 

The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride.

We are seeking Porters to join our dynamic team. You will provide a genuine positive first and last impression welcoming our guests to the island.  

About the Job 

• Create unforgettable experiences for guests from arrival to departure with exceptional service.
• Ensure professionalism during arrival and departure
• Accurately record and pass on messages
• Ensure Guest Experience is a priority on all occasions
• Delivering Bags to guest rooms
• Correctly tag bags to correct guests rooms and information
• Greeting guests upon arrival
• Assist the Front Office team with general operational tasks to ensure a seamless guest experience.

About You 

• Project a professional image at all times
• A 'quick thinker' with excellent communications and problem-solving skills
• A good team player, assists others without being asked
• Manage time effectively and productively
• Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Hold a current and valid driver’s license
