Landscaper Leading Hand/Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Landscaper Leading Hand/Supervisor to join our growing construction company based in Thomastown, with projects located throughout Melbourne.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong landscape construction experience who can supervise crews, coordinate daily site activities and maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and productivity.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading and working alongside a landscaping crew across a range of civil and landscape projects, including but not limited to:

• Soft and hard landscaping

• Turf installation

• Paving

• Retaining walls

• Earthworks

• Concreting

• Irrigation installation

• Reading and interpreting plans

• Coordinating labour, materials and equipment

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Extensive experience in landscape construction

• Previous experience in a Foreman or Leading Hand role

• Strong knowledge of both civil and landscape construction

• Ability to supervise and motivate a small crew

• Experience reading and working from construction plans

• Certificate III in Landscaping

• Current Working with Children Check

• Current Construction White Card

• Current driver’s licence (truck licence and machinery tickets highly regarded)
