Psychologist - WFH

Rate: $133–$160 per billable hour (+ GST if registered) | Work Type: Contractor (Full Flexibility & Autonomy)

Tired of unrealistic billing targets, corporate bureaucracy, and endless admin? Light Me Up Therapy is experiencing high demand in Melbourne. We’re looking for experienced registered Psychologists who want to spend more time helping people by delivering high-quality services without the burden of unbillable admin or corporate KPIs.

We handle the behind-the-scenes work, including referrals, service agreements, PACE endorsements, invoicing, and administration, as well as appointment setting if you desire. This means you can focus on direct client support. You set your own capacity, choose the clients you want to work with who align with your skills and experience, and build a local caseload of clients you align with best.

• Flexible time commitment of 1–5 days per week

• The role includes face-to-face and telehealth services providing individual therapy. Other duties may include developing treatment plans, communicating with multidisciplinary support teams, and completing assessments.

• The ideal candidate can deliver hands-on Psychology services to NDIS participants across Melbourne.

• You are currently registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA.

• You have strong interpersonal skills.

• You have up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatments.

• You value community connection and hands-on, face-to-face practice.

• You are organised, reliable, and dedicated to positive client outcomes.

This is a subcontract position. To succeed, you must be willing to set yourself up as an independent practitioner with:

• An ACN (Australian Company Number) – we can support you to set this up!

• Your own insurance and external supervision arrangements (we can also recommend some great supervisors).

• Current NDIS checks (Worker Screening/WWCC) and a valid driver’s licence for community travel.

• The ability to manage your own tax and superannuation obligations.
