About the role
At Rod's Kitchens, we don't just renovate kitchens—we create spaces where families come together. We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused Showroom Consultant to become the welcoming face of our showroom and deliver an exceptional first impression for every client.
This is not a passive retail role. You'll be the first point of contact for clients visiting our showroom, helping them explore ideas, answering questions, qualifying their renovation needs and booking appointments with our design consultants.
If you love meeting people, enjoy interior design and have a naturally positive personality, we'd love to hear from you.
No kitchen experience? No problem.
We're happy to train the right person. Whether you're starting your career, returning to the workforce, or looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, we're more interested in your attitude than your experience.
What you'll be doing
Welcoming every client with a warm, friendly and professional approach
Creating an outstanding first impression of Rod's Kitchens
Answering phone, email and walk-in enquiries
Qualifying leads and assisting clients with product selections, finishes and inspiration
Maintaining a beautiful, clean and organised showroom
Following up enquiries and helping convert leads into appointments
Coordinating samples and supplier information
Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
Supporting our sales and administration team where required.
We're looking for someone who is
Naturally friendly, bubbly and enjoys talking with people
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Well presented and professional
Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Reliable, proactive and enjoys working in a team
Interested in kitchens, interiors, home renovation or design (preferred but not essential)
Experience
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or sales is an advantage, but it's your attitude that matters most.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, communicates with confidence, brings a positive, can-do attitude and is eager to learn. If that's you, we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
If you're enthusiastic, customer-focused and excited by the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a well-established, family-owned business, we'd love to hear from you
