The Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Transport Operations and based primarily out of Council's depot at Wilberforce. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to, and be accountable for, the performance of the day labour workforce and contractors that are responsible for the completion of construction projects on Council's transport and stormwater assets. The Team Leader will ensure agreed specifications are met and within agreed timeframes, as directed by the Coordinator Transport Operations.
About You
You will have a minimum of 5+ years demonstrated experience leading teams in operational activities in a construction environment. You will be adept at using work management systems and have robust experience in work prioritisation. You will demonstrate astute judgement and professionalism which will support you to effectively and positively supervise and motivate the team, as well as build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
