The RoleWe're looking for a Portfolio Implementation Specialist to join Evidentia Group to support the efficient implementation of investment portfolios across our partner platforms.This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in financial markets, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality operational outcomes. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, Consultants, Technology, and external platform providers to ensure portfolio changes are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time while supporting the continued enhancement of our implementation processes.
ResponsibilitiesExecute portfolio changes across partner platforms, ensuring trades are submitted accurately and within required timeframesMonitor and resolve trade issues by working closely with platform providers to ensure successful trade executionComplete post-trade validation and reconciliation activities to ensure implementation accuracyAssist with funds under management (FUM) reporting requirementsMaintain rebate records, perform reconciliations, and communicate with relevant stakeholdersPartner with the Technology team to enhance Evidentia's trading system functionality and improve implementation processesMaintain and update implementation process documentation to reflect new platforms, workflows, and system enhancementsCollaborate with Associates, Consultants, and Portfolio Managers to ensure investment selections are available across relevant investment platformsDevelop strong working relationships with platform providers and maintain an in-depth understanding of their implementation processes and systemsSupport the onboarding of new tailored portfolios and retail portfolios onto investment platformsProduce monthly and quarterly asset allocation reports for data providersWork closely with Investment Analysts to deliver regular reporting to platform providers
Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related disciplineExperience in financial services, funds management, wealth management, or a related industry (approximately 12 months or more preferred)Demonstrated understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and investment vehiclesUnderstanding of asset management and managed account operationsStrong attention to detail with the ability to analyse and communicate financial information accuratelyExcellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, as well as Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamDemonstrated interest in financial markets and investments
Highly RegardedExperience working with investment platforms or portfolio implementation processesExperience in funds management, wealth management, managed accounts, or financial adviceExperience with trade execution, reconciliations, or investment operationsFamiliarity with portfolio onboarding and implementation workflowsExperience working with investment reporting and asset allocation data
