Head Barista/Supervisor

We are looking to recruit an experienced Head Barista/Supervisor to join the café in Southbank.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Head Barista or in a senior coffee-focused role.
• Proven experience working in a high-volume café producing at least 40kg of coffee per week.
• Expert-level barista skills, including espresso extraction, grinder calibration, milk texturing, latte art, and consistently producing exceptional coffee.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, extraction methods, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
• Understand café workflows and contribute to improving efficiency and overall performance.
• Ability to train, coach, and lead the wider team while setting and maintaining high coffee standards.
• Customer-focused approach, creating a warm and memorable experience for every guest.
• Conduct stock taking, manage inventory levels, and place orders with suppliers.
• Monitor sales performance and labour costs to support efficient café operations.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
