PROCESS WORKER (Mon-Thur) - day shift

Planet Organic is a family-owned business established in 1997.  For over 28 years Planet Organic has been leading the way with  high quality, environmentally sustainable organic food products. Due to our growing business, we are seeking a full-time process worker to join our team of hard workers that also enjoy having fun. 

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 6:30am – 4pm.

About the Role

You will be a valuable member of our team working in a fast-paced production and packaging environment where your main task will involve the day-to-day operation of semi-automatic food packing equipment and packing of products to containers and cartons. The work also involves maintaining a clean work environment, including the work space and production equipment on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following;

• Have the ability to work both in a team and individually

• Enjoy doing repetitive work daily

• Have a good eye for detail and a high level of quality control skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Reliable form of transport

• Be physically fit with occasional heavy lifting required

• Honest, reliable and punctual

• Good work ethic

• Be able to work standing up for the allocated shift

• Ability to maintain good work rate in this job is essential

No experience is required as onsite training will be provided.  However experience in a similar role as a process worker or cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential.
