Hospital Cook/Chef

We seek an experienced Cook or Chef to provide a high standard of food service & customer satisfaction. You will need to be well organized and have the ability to work autonomously.  This role is a casual one, with the potential for growth and the opportunity to become permanent part time.

Shifts between 7.30am - 5:30pm

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 2 years kitchen food production experience

• Demonstrated experience of success in food preparation & customer satisfaction

• Sound leadership capabilities with a proven experience working in a team environment and building respect amongst staff at all levels

• Work to standard recipes with sound knowledge of specific diets & food allergies

• Good communication and written skills

Desirable Criteria:

• Certificate 3 in commercial cookery and/or Trade Certificate

• Sound knowledge of HACCP & NSW Food authority guidelines

• A high level of personal maturity and strength of character to successfully grow within a dynamic organisation. 

• Ability to take directions from Head Chef and work unsupervised

• Ability to direct the kitchen team throughout the day
