Job Summary
In partnership the Store Manager and 2IC, you are an essential part of the store leadership team, and the retail assistant and customer experience. You play a key role in the stores success by instilling and upholding high standards within your store. Your responsibilities span from facilitating the employee experience, generating excellent customer service and overseeing all store operations.
You are proactive, have strong skills in team assessment and are able to provide feedback to your team to support the daily running of the store and team members development. You are agile and are able to adapt to the ever changing nature of a retail business.
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about working with teams and providing excellent customer experiences.
Core Responsibilities of a SABO 3IC:
Leadership and People Management
In partnership with the Store Manager and 2IC you create a welcoming and inviting team environment.
Foster a supportive and inclusive experience for team members and customers.
You are accountable for the level of experience for your team and customers.
Support the Store Manager and 2IC in monitoring and providing feedback on the store schedule to optimise.
Generate a culture of learning and development in the store. Consistently provide feedback, coaching, guidance, and support the Store Manager and 2IC in addressing performance issues.
Customer Experience
Lead by example and demonstrate best in class customer experience, practicing and upholding BEST and other key in store practices.
You ensure that every customer receives an excellent experience. You support team your to ensure a great customer experience including, customer interactions, assessing customer needs and aiding in customer in store transaction when needed.
Lead from the floor assessing and fulfilling the needs of the team, customers and business.
Respond to emergent issues; team needs, emergency request and customer escalations.
Operations
You have strong time management skills and are able to manage the day to day operations of the retail floor, are able to prioritise to meet business needs and provide feedback and direction to the team.
Manage the floor and day to day business including achieving financial targets, reporting on the business.
Support Store Manager and 2IC in making decisions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the store/floor operations.
You are responsible for inventory management including receiving, processing, restocking and destocking, and visual merchandising.
Understand and adhere to people safety (policies) and procedures and to maintain and promote a safe working environment.
Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, laws and/or regulations.
Embrace and ensure Store Operating Principles are adhered to at all times.
Job Requirements
Experience: Management experience preferred
Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in the location of your place of work
Availability: This 3IC role is a valuable and integral role in our retail leadership team. This role is intended to be a reliable leader in store, in particular when Store Manager and 2IC are not present. Working in retail is a 7 day a week, 365 days a year role. We are looking for a leader willing to work a flexible schedule and is available and willing to work both weekend days. Working a minimum of 5 weekend days a month
Hours expectations: Employment type is flexible, as anticipated hours of work may range from 20-38hours a week dependent on the needs of the business
Willingness requirement:
Willing to work as apart of a team and at time work individually.
Willing to work on the store floor for most of a shift, to get work done and deliver customer experience.
