The Opportunity

The Consultancy Manager leads FORM's profit-for-purpose consultancy business, delivering major public art and place-based projects for clients across government, industry, and community organisations throughout Western Australia. You'll focus on sustainable growth, driving business development, project delivery, and client relationships across Land.Mark.Art, Creative Spaces and Places, Creative Strategy, and Public Art and Activation.

This role suits people who have led complex, high-value projects and built strong client relationships, whether that experience comes from the arts sector or from fields like urban planning, construction, events, tourism, or professional services.

What matters most is your ability to win and manage major projects, lead a team well, and deliver outcomes that make a genuine difference to communities and places across WA.

Reporting to the CEO and leading a tight-knit team, you'll build and develop strategies for FORM's Creative and Cultural Consultancy business, guide your team to deliver public art outcomes with real cultural depth, develop lasting creative partnerships, contribute to financial planning, and shape a positive, high-performing team culture. You'll also be part of FORM's leadership team, helping set direction for the organisation as a whole.

Three things matter most to us:

• Business development. You know how to find work and win it, and you build the partnerships that extend our reach and grow our contribution to the creative economy.
• Client servicing. Our projects follow a long trail. You keep clients with us across that distance, informed, confident and clear about where things stand.
• Project management. You can hold complex, high-value projects across several domains at once, with the planning and budgeting skills to bring them to fruition on time and on budget.

Experience in arts, culture or public art is highly desirable. It will help you from the start, because you will already understand how artists work and how a commission takes shape. If your experience is in urban planning, construction, property, events, tourism or professional services, we would still like to hear from you, and we will support you to build the specific cultural and public art knowledge you need once you are here.

We embed self-determination, cultural awareness and deep respect in everything we do, recognising that Aboriginal and Islander peoples are the Custodians of their Country, their culture and their communities.
